RAW MILK / FARM FRESH MILK

 

Raw milk (aka Farm Fresh Milk) has been in the news recently as Vermonters discuss whether we should have easier access to this product. Here are some samples of the discussion in Vermont:

 

The Vermont Agency of Agriculture has rules governing the sale of raw milk.

 

The Vermont Department of Health does not recommend drinking raw milk. See their warning here. Other groups claim health benefits from drinking raw milk - go to the Rural Vermont site (below) to explore these positive takes on raw milk.

 

 

Rural Vermont has launched its own Farm Fresh Milk campaign to make it easier for farmers to sell raw milk.
