HOMEMADE FLOUR & SOY MILK

Erika Mitchell recently held a workshop in East Calais to view her gardens and her equipment for simple grain grinding and soy milk making at home. She reports that even a small corn patch yields plenty of cornmeal and buying local wheatberries is an easy way to have fresh wheat flour year-round without worrying about it going rancid. She shared the information she had gathered while purchasing her at-home grinding and milk-making equipment, in the document below. Erika notes that the price ranges given might be high now, as prices have generally come down for this equipment. You can also look for local flour and soy milk for sale in retail outlets.
